This past year and a half has thrown both myself as well as E2DaP Records some curve balls, so to speak. Betrayal, lies, hardship and fallouts have plagued us, needless to say we’ve adapted and are here to ROCK. Theres no point in naming names or dragging anyones business through the mud…what’s done is done. I am thankful that things happened while the label was still young and before my own personal album has been released. It has been quite the learning experience and the E2 stronghold is now stronger than ever. While the bullshit slowed the label’s progress down, it sure as hell didn’t stop us! Between everything that’s happened I’ve had to restructure the label completely and everyone will be very pleased with the way things are working out. A MUCH NEEDED webpage update/overhaul is coming, along with fresh audio and some new merchandise for the store. Heres some news since I haven’t been keeping the digital world posted with too much lately:
—For those who don’t know, “Sullen MC” is no longer part of the label. I still retain rights to the image and likeness to the name, but the…*bites tongue*…person… formally behind his presence on the mic is no longer an associate of ours.
—Local recording artist “D-Greezy” has been signed to the label for over half a year now. We’ve spent a lot of time developing him as a musician as well as recording his debut album, which is *FINISHED*. Every track on the album is a high quality banger that’s bound to please all ear drums. It will be released shortly, we just need to wrap up a few things so we can do it proper. Look for the first run to be replicated to our standard of excellence. You can check out some of the songs off of his upcoming album here:

Untitled feat. Copywrite:
We hope you enjoy those tracks, please feel free to send ‘em to your friends and whatnot
Email general@e2dap.com if you would like high quality promotional copies before the album is released.
—International Hip Hop artist “Sirplus” has been conditionally signed to E2DaP Records, technical details on our agreement aren’t of importance right now…What is important is his first single which we released first quarter 2011!! Its kind of pop-ish and a little different from what you’re accustomed to from us here at E2. I ask that you listen to it with open ears and keep in mind the audience it was intended for…More of a pop market type of thing, that hook stays in my head all day long! He has been grinding hard and representing E2DaP to the fullest out in Ireland. Make sure to add him on reverbnation as well as twitter and show our foriegn friend some love! He is very versatile and the upcoming tracks he releases will illustrate that quite well, if you weren’t feeling this track–HAVE FAITH!

The track is getting radio play in Ireland and will soon be here in the states as well, I will of course keep you posted as things develop.
—Beastman has been recording at his usual snails pace. He still will be shooting a music video for the single, “User Friendly” and the ball has once again begun rolling on that. Video aside he has a few bangers that will be featured on the upcoming Horrorcore Mixtape Vol. 3.
For those unfamiliar with the Beast, here is a link to his first single:

Heres a joint me and him did for the HC Mixtape V3
And a personal favorite off of the No Rest project we did. Listen to this joint on repeat a few times and it really gets into you.
—Speaking of the Horrorcore Mixtape Volume 3 “Demonic Reinstatement”, there was a huge set back due to…”Issues”… with an engineer (if you can call him that) that I used to work with. Heres a lesson for all musicians: TAKE HOME COPIES OF EVERYTHING YOU DO EVERYTIME YOU RECORD AT A STUDIO. And I’ll leave it at that. I’ve salvaged much of the mixtape. The tape has 12 tracks finished at this point in time and another 3-4 in the oven. Realistically, I’ve got a few more open spots I’m trying to fill…if you’re interested contact general@e2dap.com for submission details. There have been a few tracks off the tape posted in this update. Along with those, here is a banger from my dawgie “Flawless The MC”
“They Call It Murder”
— Last but not least is yours truly, Epitaph the mack, CEO of E2DaP Records and the mastermind behind the conglomeration of brilliance before you. My debut album, “Pozz The Nation,” is pretty much finished. There are a few loose ends that need tightening up and whatnot, but its ready and has been. Instead of aiming to release this album myself, I have secured representation to shop the album to select labels of my choice. In the mean time I have been recording for a few local musician’s albums, doing a few promo tracks, playing shows, and working on the Horrorcore Mixtape. Along with my duties to my fellow artists and clients of course.
Here are a few of the more recent tracks I’ve recorded for your listening pleasure:
“Its Epitaph…” Its got Chopp Devize doing a pretty dope interlude and my man Campaign doing the chorus with me.
“Cold As Ice” Epitaph, Rabid, Likewize- Track off the HC Mixtape V3
This is an older track, like 2 years old. I love it though and you should too. Warbux is up first, I go second, DZK goes last and DJ Immortal is cuttin it up.
That is pretty much anything I can think of at the moment. Make sure to follow us all on various social networks, the homepage www.e2dap.com has links to everything. Hopefully by the time you are reading this it will be updated. It feels great to be back on track and thanks for all the love and support!
Love <3,
Jordan/Epitaph
